Add Portfolio



Portfolio Name is the name of this portfolio

Portfolio Commenced is the date that this portfolio will become effective.  The current date is shown.  To change this date, you can either enter the date in the format day/month/year, or you can use the calendar selection option by clicking the down arrow.

Review Fee is the fee that will be charged each time this portfolio is reviewed.  This fee does not include VAT.  This is a choice field, the options are:
  • Flat Fee is a set amount that is charged for each review.
  • Percentage is a percent of the total portfolio value at the time of the review.

    Tick the option that you require and enter the value of either the flat fee or the percent.

Payment Method is the way that the client has chosen to pay the review fee.  This is a choice field.  The options are:
  • Cheque
  • Fax 
  • Transporter

Review Period is how frequently this portfolio is to be reviewed.  This is a choice field.  The options are:
  • 3 monthly
  • 6 monthly
  • 12 monthly

First Review is the date that the first review must be done for this portfolio.  A date is calculated based on the date you entered for the Portfolio Commenced and the Review Period.  To change this date, you can either enter the date in the format day/month/year, or you can use the calendar selection option by clicking the down arrow.

Investment Profile is the growth expected for this investment.  This is a choice field.  Some sample options are:
  • Low Growth
  • Medium Low Growth
  • Medium Growth
  • Medium High Growth
  • High Growth

Profile Account Name is the name of the bank account for this profile

Profile Account is the bank account number for this profile.

Tenant in Common is a tick box to indicate yes or no.

Withdrawal Method allows you to select a method that is in the best interest of the client for their tax status. This is a choice field.  The options are:
  • Purchased by Manager
  • Redemption from Fund

Notes are personal comments made by you about this portfolio.

Once you have entered this information, click the Next button at the bottom of the screen to continue.  The Add Portfolio Investment Objectives screen will be invoked.  To exit this screen, without saving the information, click the Cancel button at the bottom of the screen.
