Event History

The Event History section primarily allows you to perform an audit review.  A complete list of the transactions made for this client and this portfolio are listed.  You can select to only view certain transactions, using the search facilities.

Search Type allows you to perform either a Simple or an Advanced search.  The default is a simple search.  If the simple search is selected, only the three fields shown above are used for the search.  If the advanced search is selected, the screen is refreshed and more fields are shown.  These fields are discussed next.

Transaction type is the type of transaction that you want included in the search results.  This is a choice field.  The options are:
  • None
  • Contribution
  • Withdrawal
  • Opening Balance
  • Switch In
  • Switch Out
  • Income Reinvest
  • Income Distribution
  • Adjustment
  • Cash Bonus

Search Text is the fund name, or a fund name containing part of the text, that you want included in the search results.

Convert Selected to Capital Transactions is the facility that allows you to show which transactions are capital movements.  First select any transactions that are capital movements, by placing a tick in the corresponding box.  Once all the selections have been made, click this option to perform conversion to capital transactions. You can then produce a Capital Movement report on this under the reports tabs.

These additional fields are shown if Advanced is selected as the search type.  The rest of the fields are the same as for a Simple search.

Date From and Date To are the dates that transactions must have taken place between, to be included in the search results.
