Investment Transactions

The Transaction section allows you to add and edit transactions for the portfolio that you are working with.



The first part of this screen shows the name of the investment fund that was selected. On the right is the Edit option.

To view more information about this fund, click the right arrow next to the fund name. This will display a screen with the transactions for this fund. This is a view only screen.  To close this screen, click the down arrow next to the contact name.

To change any of this information click Edit.  The Investment Edit screen is displayed.  This option invokes the same screen that you used to create a new investment fund.

The second part of this screen lists all the transactions made for this investment fund.

To add new transactions, select Add Transaction.

Next to each transaction line are the editing options:-
  • The red X symbol deletes this transaction line from the list.
  • Edit invokes the Edit Transactions screen.  The fields on this screen are the same as the fields on the Add Transaction screen.  The Transaction Date and Transaction Status fields can only be changed if the transaction status is pending.  Once a transaction has been made active, these fields can no longer be changed.
