Add New Contact

When you select Add Contact this screen is displayed, where you can enter all the personal information about each individual person. Scroll up and down to view all the fields.


Contact Status. This is a choice field.  The options are:
  • None is the default to ensure that the correct option is selected.
  • Active is for clients that you are currently proving a service for.
  • Inactive is for obsolete clients.
  • Prospect is for an entity that you are prospecting
Advisor - Select the advisor who owns the contact. This field will only be enabled if you have more that one advisor in your practice.

Title of the person.  

First Name of the person.  It is mandatory that this field is filled in.

Middle Name of the person.

Last Name of the person. .  It is mandatory that this field is filled in.

Known As is this person’s familiar name. It is mandatory that this field is filled in.

Sex indicates if this person a male or female.  Click the relevant box.

Date of Birth of the person.  You can either enter the date in the format day/month/year, or you can use the calendar selection option by clicking the down arrow.

PAN Number of this person.

Address Details has the usual fields allowing for a postal address.

Phone Numbers has fields for capturing different telephone numbers as well as an e-mail address.

Tax Rate of the contact.

Income Bracket of this person.  This is a choice field.  The options are:
  • None
  • Low Income
  • Medium Income
  • High Income

Source of Contact is the person that referred this person to you.

Notes are personal comments made by you about this person.

Show Data Mining allow you to add customisable categories under the contact. You can then use these when doing a contact search or a bulk correspondence to find out all your contacts who are interested in or belong to a particular group.

Once you have entered this information, click the Save button at the bottom of the screen to continue.  To exit this screen, without saving the information, click the Cancel button at the bottom of the screen.
