Investment Template Wizard

This screen is shown when you select Add New Investment Template.

Step 1 - Enter Investment Template Details


The fields on this screen are discussed below:

Template Name is the name of the template that you are creating.

Cash Account is a choice field, the options listed are picked up from your Back Office Provider settings.  When Funds are being added or edited, there is an option to indicate whether or not the fund is used as a cash account.  Funds that are ticked as cash accounts are listed here.

Click "Save & Next >" to proceed to the next step OR "< Back" to return to the previous step.

Step 2 - Enter Risk Profile Relationship



It is possible to relate an investment template to a particular risk profile setup on OMNIMax.  This is a choice field.  The options are related to how your risk profiles are setup.  An example of the options is:
    • All Risk Profile
    • Defensive
    • Conservative
    • Balanced
    • Growth
    • Aggressive
If you select All Risk Profile, this template will be used for all the risk profiles.


Click "Save & Next >" to proceed to the next step OR "< Back" to return to the previous step.

Step 3 - Modify Investment Selection

It is here that you enter the actual information that will be used for investment plans and for the comparisons in reviews.



In the section all the fund sectors are displayed, so that the investment information for each sector can be specified.

For each fund sector, there is the option to Edit Percentages and to Add New Fund.  These options are used to build up the template information.

Each fund sector is divided by the recommend investments for that sector.

To view or edit the information entered for each fund, select Edit, or to remove a fund, select Delete.

Edit Percentages & Priority

This screen is shown when you select Edit Percentages.



You can decide what percentage of the allocated money will go to each fund. You can also decide on the priority in which these investment will be used by using the up and down arrows as indicated in the picture below.



 
Adding a New Fund



This screen is shown when you select Add New Fund.

Fund Manager is the name of the fund manger for this investment.  This is a choice field.  Click the down arrow or in the box to see the list of fund managers.

Fund is the name of the particular fund that you are adding to the template.  This is a choice field.  Click the down arrow or in the box to see the list of fund managers.  The funds shown depend on the fund manager that was selected in the previous field.

Minimum Amount is the minimum amount allowed for this fund.

When you have finished entering this information click on either "Update" to add this fund to the list, or "Cancel" to remove this entry.

Step 4 - Share Investment Template


The final step is to select which advisor are able to access and use the regular savings template.
